The Zeehan Museum has opened a new exhibition, ‘A History of Freemasonry on the West Coast’. 

The exhibition was sponsored in part by the Grand Lodge of Tasmania, with members of the Mt Lyell Lodge playing keys roles the look of the displays. There are a number of display cases holding a raft of Masonic items and memorabilia. There is also a room set up as a lodge room, with all the furniture and key items including a checkered payment.  

One item of note in the exhibition is the minute book for the former Zeehan Lodge. The minute book was located in the hands of a member of the Meander Lodge and has now been donated to the Zeehan Museum.
