Worshipful Brother Corey McGrath was installed into the chair of Lodge Lauriston on the 12 April. Attendance numbers were up on past years, so much so that additional chairs had to be placed in the lodge room. In total there were 23 visiting Masters and 26 Grand Lodge officers, in addition to members and visitors. The number attending was a testament to Cory’s ongoing attendance as a visitor to lodges from across the state.

Cory was installed by the Grand Master, Most Worshipful Brother Luke Wood. The Grand Master was accompanied by four Past Grand Masters – Most Worshipful Brothers Oddie, Slore, Clark, and Hodges. The current Deputy Grand Master and six Past Deputy Grand Masters were also in attenance.

The post installation banquet was held in the George Town Community Centre, and was also well attended by masons and the families.
